ATS Questions: How Does iRecruit Integrate with WOTC?

Work Opportunity Tax Credit, known as WOTC, can boost your bottom line as an employer. WOTC is a federal employment tax credit available to employers who hire individuals from target groups that include veterans, individuals on SNAP (food stamps) and the long-term unemployed.
On average 10-15% of your new hires may be qualified for up to $2,400 worth of tax savings under the WOTC program guidelines. This can vary by region and category.
Integrating WOTC with iRecruit, or other Applicant Tracking Software (ATS)
In iRecruit there are multiple ways to integrate the WOTC screening into your hiring process.
  1. In your iRecruit account you can set up a simple email template to send instructions to the new hire on how to complete the WOTC screening process.
  2. Include WOTC as part of your onboarding process for new hires. Add the WOTC screening forms to your onboarding new hire paperwork.
  3. With iConnect, Electronic Onboarding, you can have a completely paperless process by including the WOTC web form with your onboarding files.

How We Do WOTC Screening

CMS and iRecruit also is flexible enough that our customers can select their preferred screening method, OR use a combination of all three screening methods as needed. New Hires can do the WOTC survey through the following methods:
