iRecruit, Applicant Tracking and Electronic Onboarding software offers two ways that a job can be set up and posted.
- Depending on your requirements, you may want to allow any user to be able to log in and post a job at any time.
- Or you may prefer that each job that is posted gets approved first.
iRecruit’s Advanced Requisition Approval allows your company to initiate a request for a new job posting either by using a secure web link, or by logging into an iRecruit account to create a new request.
If you use the secure web link option, you can share that link with anyone at your company who needs to post a job. You can even add the URL to your Employee Self Service software or Intranet for convenience.
Once the request has been received – Administrators will receive an email alert – approvers can be assigned to the request. Whether you only need one person to approve the position, or you need 10 (or more), you just select from your list of approvers, and set the order in which the approval requests are routed. Each person who has been assigned to approve your job will receive an email with the option of Approving or Rejecting the position, one by one.
If you have a manager or department head who is slow to approve, you can also send reminders to them. Or alternatively, reassign to a different person to approve if the original recipient is not available.
Job listings that require approval, do not go live on your iRecruit career page or be shared with job boards until they have been approved by all assigned approvers.
